The CBDT has extended the Income tax return filing date from 31st July 2019 to 31st August 2019 for Assessment Year 2019-20 for taxpayer who are liable to file on 31st July 2019. This has extended because of changes in ITR XML Schema and due to increase in date of TDS Filing date of Form 24Q and for issue of Form 16 for one month.
